Our team is made up of three core facilitators, all professional art models with over a decade of experience creating wilderness nude art. Rooted in ancient practices that honour the cycles of Mother Nature, we explore the profound connection between the human body and the natural world.

We invite you to shed your layers, step into your truest form, and embrace the freedom, empowerment, and transformative magic of being naked in nature. Come as you are, and leave feeling grounded, inspired, and deeply connected.

Our Core Offerings

At Völur Retreat, witchcraft is a gentle, intentional way to connect with yourself and the world around you. Through sharing circles, shadow work, music, and dance, you’ll explore your inner landscape and your connections with others.
Our rituals are grounded, supportive, and accessible, designed to help you slow down, reflect, and step into your own rhythm. Each practice brings clarity, presence, and inner resonance, guiding you toward a steadier, more aligned sense of self.
The essence of Völur Retreat are our Group Empowerment Photoshoot sessions where you will shed your layers and step into the wild nature of Iceland in your truest form. Step into your power by honouring your body, accepting your uniqueness and embracing your shadows. Völur are there for you, every step of the way, guiding and supporting you through this healing journey.
Led by our co-founder and certified yoga instructor, Björg, our sessions combine gentle yoga and soft stretching with the deeply restorative practice of Yoga Nidra. Each session is thoughtfully guided to release tension, settle the mind, and create a sense of calm and ease.
Runes & Nordic Traditions
We are deeply rooted in Celtic and Nordic pagan traditions. During our retreats, you are invited to explore the ancient practice of rune casting and divination, and discover ways to bring the runes into everyday life as a tool for reflection, intuition, and connection.
Medicinal Herbs & Foraging
Herbal traditions are woven into the retreat experience, with homemade herbal infusions offered each day. When included in your retreat, guided foraging walks introduce local medicinal plants and their traditional uses, connecting us with the landscape and the knowledge of those who came before us.

Your spot at the retreat is secured once Völur Retreat have received the initial deposit.
Absolutely. We believe this experience should be accessible to everyone who feels called to join us, so we offer flexible, personalized payment plans to support you on your journey.
We don’t provide direct transportation, but we share helpful guidance on how to reach our retreat location. Before the retreat begins, we also create a group chat for all participants, a space where attendees can connect, coordinate travel, and arrange carpooling if they wish
Not at all. Our retreat welcomes both seasoned practitioners and complete beginners. Everything we offer is invitational; you’re encouraged to participate at your own pace and comfort level.
We provide cozy, communal lodging, some retreats have private rooms and sometimes shared rooms. All spaces are clean, safe, and created to support rest and connection.
Yes, all meals are included, and they’re prepared with nourishment and intention. We happily accommodate dietary needs, just let us know in advance.
All of our meals are vegan/plant based.
It’s a guided, supportive experience designed to celebrate body acceptance, confidence, and communal empowerment. Participants can join solo and in small groups, and you can opt out at any time. No modeling experience needed, just an open heart.
Your images will never be shared without your explicit written permission. All files are handled with care, privacy, and confidentiality.
Nudity is never mandatory. While some experiences, such as the empowerment photoshoot, are nude-optional, you are always free to choose what feels right for you. Consent, comfort, and autonomy are at the heart of all our practices.
Not necessarily. Our activities include gentle yoga and movement, meditation, creative workshops, and nature immersions. If any offering requires moderate physical effort, we’ll let you know in advance, and everything can be adapted.
Absolutely and wholeheartedly. We hold a safe, inclusive space for people of all genders, sexualities, and identities. Respect and acceptance are non-negotiable.
Once you register, you’ll receive a detailed packing list. In general, we recommend comfortable clothing, layers for outdoor activities, personal items, a journal, and anything that supports your spiritual or creative practice.
Totally normal. Many participants arrive with a mix of excitement and nerves. Our team and community are here to support you, and most people feel at ease very quickly once they settle into the environment.
